Is trump a clever manipulator or an incredible idiot?

I mean all this bullshit he keeps vomiting out: Obama tapped his phones, the news is fake, the polls were biased.
Is it the tactic to distract from his egregious behavior or is it just the infantile flailing of an entitled, narcissistic man-child?

I think it's a bit of both. It's like a case of "look at my big ego so you don't see what I'm REALLY doing in front of you", like a magicians misdirection or sleight of hand trick.

It is nothing more than a distraction.

He is allowing time for the Trump team to deliberately fail to staff, manage, and provide resources for federal agencies so as to sabotage and slowly dismantle them. To make matters worse, the Trump team might be leveraging the controversies regarding its disastrous national security moves to obscure and conceal that slow and steady demolition of the bureaucracy.

Whilst we argue and complain about judges and wire tapping - our democracy is unraveling before our eyes.

Happy days? I think not.

@UnparalleledMonster: That was the whole point of the 2016 election after the Bernie ship had sailed. Pick the one with the experience and better temperament. Both politicians lie, but only one of them knows how to pilot the plane. Unfortunately, while the Republicans were riled up for Trump, an important demographic that makes up the Democratic Party (millennials) were too busy throwing their temper tantrum over our favorite candidate's loss all the way into election day. And of course, the FBI's October surprise was the icing on the cake even though it turned out to be nothing.

It started with some wise guy that it was just too easy to bust on I didn't care for his initial commentary so leave him Ava it so to speak and enjoyed the positive feedback I got. Considering the effort Democrats put into rigging the primary in Hillary's favor and how debate questions were leaked from CNN, and the private meeting between Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch, I would think it's highly likely that Democrat operatives, including white house officials, tapped Trump's telephones.
