We're Starting To Drill For Oil In The Largest Oil Reserve In the World: Greenland, Trump Says

Posted on TRUTH Media. Which is pretty much true, with the following caveats:

1. The Greenland reserves are estimated to be 10% of Venezuela's.

2. Starting to drill is a bit of a stretch, and while US companies are involved, they don't really have a plan for how to drill through a mile of ice and how to move it out.

3. This seems to be news to Greenland officials.

4. This is not Trump's oil, as he alluded, Greenland clearly stated that this is the property of Denmark.

Other than that, it's all true.

The 'deal' allows the US to “modernise and expand” its activities at the Pituffik Space Base, a remote US military installation in northwest Greenland.

It also paves the way for two new military bases and Trump’s “Golden Dome” missile defence system, while reaffirming Danish sovereignty and Greenlanders’ right to self-determination.

In other words - it's the same deal that has bern in place since 1951 😂

Like the 1951 agreement, this version does not allocate any rights for mining or drilling

trump is babbling about yet another fantasy.

@newjaninev2 actually many things change in Greenland since , now they have more rights to self govern their mineral rights . The proposed new base in eastern Greenland will cost billions as area have 0 infrastructure and all this probe drilling make take 5 years at best.

Hopefully the EU and Canada will keep Greenland safe from the russia-US alliance.
