I am British, and we have the same problem, but tbh its nowhere near as bad as America. I am in favour of public funding for candidates

@Burnley123 okay so taxes at 100% would be most successful. . . Even so I agree businesses and corporations shouldn’t be permitted to fund politics. What about non profits or community organizations? It gets more complicated from here

It does but if you have to restrict one you kind of have to restrict all because their will be loopholes. I mean, you could get the Charles Koch charitable foundation giving thirty million dollars.

I dont think there should be political campaigns. You should be able to swindle people in a popularity contest to gain near total control over a nation.

It attracts the wrong minded people to want the job.
