He's guilty af and knows they're gunning for him. Fauci's head is a huge prize to whoever gets it. Fauci should flee to some country where he won't be extradited.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Munumbis I hear he has connections to the restaurant business in wuhan, china
Munumbis · 46-50, M
@sunsporter1649 China might protect him but I wouldn't count on it.

I plead the Fifth
WillaKissing · 61-69, M
Better question is why was Fauci given a presidential pardon before he was ever accused of a crime!

Shit I want one of those then so I can go rob a bank!
@WillaKissing As others have mentioned. The reason is obvious. Trump is the most litigious POTUS ever by far. As much as I despise the man Trump sued Bill Maher over a joke that hurt his feelings and as POTUS he has now turned the DOJ into the Department of Grudges and Hurt Feelings.

Anyone could tell Trump was going to persecute him so BIden did what he could.
Prison1203 · 61-69, M
@WillaKissing I want to know why he pardoned his family members also
WillaKissing · 61-69, M
@Prison1203 Me too!
Thatsright · 61-69, M
It’s his right.
Probably saving taxpayers money.
“They” aren’t going to do anything to one of their own.
The swamp is running out the clock on the President.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Thatsright if is getting more difficult to tell who/what is the swamp!
It makes perfect sense. The committee and the MAGA base already made up their mind about his guilt before he appeared, so no defense would have been good enough. At best it wouldn't make a difference and at worst it would give them material to take out of context for propaganda and cheap attention. Best to only give them only one thing instead.

@sunsporter1649
the jackass is guilty, therefore the pardon
That's not how it works, and that is why the Republicans are going to be very, VERY disappointed :)
@sunsporter1649 I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for you to provide any resources to back that up, but feel free to surprise me.

It was a Rand Paul circus act. I don't blame him for not participating in it. Why ddi Paul kick Fauci's attorney out?

He had ALREADY received a Presidential pardon. His diaries revealed a smarmy narcissist, and also revealed that MOST of what that creep PUT us all through was unnecessary.

His LAWYERS told him to plead the fifth, which is a typical slimy lawyer thing to do...BUT as It turns out, pleading the 5th wasn't exactly wise legal procedure when testifying before Congress.

NOW the States are going after him. They won't succeed, because it is a Federal issue...but they can keep him in court for years and bankrupt him with legal costs.
Waveney · M
It is his right, and it does not indicate guilt.

MAGA had no problem when Trump pleaded the 5th many, many times during his hearings.

Why are they so angry now?
It's what anyone would do.
DragonFruit · 70-79, M
It was done on the advice of his attorneys....the whole purpose of bringing him in was to try to trip him up and get him to say anything that might possibly give them fuel to go after him.
He is smart enough to follow his attorney's advice.
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
pleading the 5th after receiving a pardon...

Isn't that like wearing a mask after getting vaccine? 🤔
GoFish · 41-45, F
anything he says honestly incriminates him to hell and the people who put him up to his lying propaganda in the first place he's a ☠ man 😒
Considering the current administration is prosecuting anyone who hurt their feelings whether wrongdoing occurred or not it is best not to hand them ammunition.

It is the smart move since he is scapegoat of the week right now.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
Maybe this is a crazy Canadian question but what the hell is he being accused of? lol
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@JimboSaturn the MAGA people think he was in charge of everything related to covid, from the virus emerging to the treatments. They believe the vaccine caused more harm than good and blame that on him as well. They are an angry bunch that need to fight to survive. He became their target.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@samueltyler2 But there is no evidence of the vacine harming anyone (I wonder what Hippyjoe has to say about that). Do they think he caused Covid? The US is such an irrational and confusing country now.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@JimboSaturn evidence seems to be in the eyes of the beholder. Covid has been studied pretty well and the thought by most is that it jumped from animals to humans naturally, that the vaccine was an incredible achievement saving millions of lives, that social distancing and masking did help. But MA G A wont accept the proof.
