Yes. I think this list is what every liberal believes. And a lot of those that make fun of liberals do too....if you ask them.

Liberals generally support individual rights, equality, and government action to address societal problems. Their beliefs combine civil liberties, social justice, and a mixed economy with a strong role for government in protecting rights and promoting fairness

Core Principles ....Individual Liberty: Freedom of speech, religion, assembly, and the press; the right to due process and equality before the law.

Equality.....: Legal, social, and economic equality; dismantling systemic barriers to opportunity.

Social Justice....: Fair treatment, equitable resource distribution, and addressing historical injustices.

Consent of the Governed:... Government authority comes from the people, not from a ruling class

Pluralism & Tolerance:.... Respect for diverse lifestyles, cultures, and beliefs.

Support for a mixed economy with government intervention to prevent market failures, ensure competition, and protect labor rights

Progressive taxation to fund social programs and reduce inequality

Investment in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and clean energy.

Social & Civil Rights Advocacy for gender and racial equality, civil rights.

Support for LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive rights (including abortion access), and protections for marginalized groups. Not because that lifestyle necessarily appeals to us, but rather because they are human beings too and as such they should be given the same rights as everyone else to life, libetry and their pursuit of happiness..

Protecting the environment and combating climate change.

Government Role.......Belief that government should alleviate social ills, protect civil liberties, and provide a social safety net. If one looks up the "purpose of ANY government".........that is the definition of what government is.

Policies to expand access to education, healthcare, housing, and public services

Economic...... Higher minimum wages, worker protections, anti-monopoly measures.

Social....... Civil rights enforcement, anti-discrimination laws, reproductive rights.

Healthcare.......... Universal or near-universal access to healthcare....through EQUAL taxation of the rich as well as the non-billionaire class..

Education.......... Public funding, access for all, quality improvement.

In short, liberals believe in protecting individual freedoms, ensuring equality of opportunity, and using government action to create a fairer, more just society

And FUN FACT...........up until the 1980's ...prior to the Reagan / Nixon era.........those core beliefs was 100% identical to what the Republican Party USED TO run on as core values too. Ask someone who can remember those days in the GOP and see what they tell you.

🤔... Are we talking Political... Philosophical... Religious... Intellectual... Or... Social...?

🤔...Or perhaps a combination of any-and/or-all these combined.

Because immediately, I can tell you in regards to myself, that politically, I used to be very Authoritarian before becoming Liberal, then becoming a Centerist.

Religiously, I'm A Universalist Agnostic with slight Buddhist and Zoroastrian leanings.

Philosophically, I'm an idealist with a slight cynical and existential streak.

Plus, I'm intellectually and socially more liberal than most of my peers.

@Sidewinder
There are lots of things that many people, who for whatever reason are either unwilling or unable to admit.

If I were to say to you: "I'm a very complicated person." would you not respond with: "Complicated people would never openly admit they are complicated?"

No, I would not respond in that manner because it is a direct and non librul approach.

Neither here, nor there and can be anywhere.

That's me in a nutshell.

@Sidewinder I can recall having said that: "Neither here, nor there and can be anywhere."

I have short term memory disorder.
