@beckyromero Hey while the channel was a CBS channel, even both CBS and ABC are farming out local news to Fox affiliates.
That by itself is a serious problem.

@Nick1 No that was surely a Trump senior pressure thing. Trump himself loved saying "your fired" on that show. Still does in real life. And like father, like son should be the mentality. Junior does have his father's name.

What I meant was Trump likely wants to be known by the American public in a friendly way like Theodore Roosevelt (Teddy), Eisenhower (Ike), John and Robert Kennedy (Jack and Bobby) and Clinton (Bill). He - Trump - is the one signing off Truth Social as DJT. This is my opinion, that's all. I don't think "Donny" suits the Imperial image he has of himself, though.
The brand name recognition way of looking at all of this is exactly what he's going for, yep.

Funny thing: the deal tRump really wants to make is the same JCPOA deal Obama made in 2015 that tRump blew up in 2018.
Problem is, you have to establish trust to negotiate at that level, and tRump destroyed all trust by using earlier negotiations as camouflage for a surprise attack.
