If JFK survived the assassination, we wouldn't have Ronald Reagan. Bush Senior. Clinton. Bush. Obama and Trump doesn't need to run for President and The Twin Towers will still be standing.
No Iraq Wars. No patriot act bill since there won't be under surveillance.
Israel probably start a civil war against Zionists. Iran wouldn't be hostile since the islamic regime failed to take over back in the 70's.
And Jeffrey Epstein would've been arrested way before 2019.
It may have accelerated the process of getting racists on board, but the Heritage Foundation has been paving this path since the 1980's. Maybe Obama's presidency helped significantly with starting the end game in 2016 with Trump, but it was going to happen soon with someone anyway.
Let me tell you something that you really should be thinking about.
You see those new black cameras on the road? They call them flock cameras. They quietly put up thousands and thousands of them around the country in the last few years.
You know why? Because it helps the police catch the bad guys easier, that's what they tell you. Then there are the things they don't tell you.
They are quietly surrounding us in a box, monitoring our every move, they want to put cameras in your cars that read your body and determine if you're allowed to drive.
They passed laws that want you to identify yourself when you use your own phone and computer, they tell you that it's to protect the children. Then there are the things they don't tell you.
They are quietly harvesting everyone's personally identifiable information and tying it to every device you'll ever use and be able to confirm everywhere you'll ever go, like a rat in a cage.
The scary part? These are the only bills that are getting bipartisan support.
Does this sound like the land of the free to you?
But keep playing red vs blue, maybe a police state is exactly what this country deserves.
I don't agree with you this time, but it's an understandable conclusion if you only consider particular elements of recent US political history.
I DO agree that the racists are having a field day at the moment and it does not bode well for the future of any country that allows that group to have power.
@FreddieUK I'm sorry, but when you have a president who is motivated purely by his hatred for a Black man who had the one thing he didn't (respect), along with a House and Senate who swore they would do everything they could to oppose Obama, no matter what, it's hard to look past the race element.
@Waveney I don't doubt that and I quite agree that Trump suffers from ODS, but the racial issues go back further and are more endemic than the Obama presidency.
There's a good amount of truth to that, even though the seeds were planted long before him. A not small part of maga uprise is reactionary racism towards the Obama Presidency. Though that racism just didn't comenout of nowhere..
