DOJ tells Trump he can hold onto government docs when he leaves office

A memo from the DOJ says President Donald Trump no longer has to follow a Watergate-era law barring him from holding on to presidential records when he leaves office.

“the President need not further comply with its dictates,” the opinion said.

Let's see what SCOTUS says about this.

I can see this leading to a whole raft of original, incriminating documents being squirreled away from prying eyes.... I mean seriously why not just make him king and reintroduce the divine right of Kings and save any future hassles...

@SunshineGirl while I'm not a believer, if the man does exist I think having a sense of humour would be mandatory... And as such I think when someone is making a complete and utter ass of themselves, don't interfere 🤣

@SunshineGirl and why wouldn't it... It would take years and billions of dollars to do what Trump is doing for nothing... Trumps name will be engraved up there, right next to Caligula
