Yes it's because ice wasn't sent out to help airports, they are sent out to intimidate flyers.

I didn't see any intimidation at all by ICE in that video.

@ron122 If a bunch of impoverished looking teenagers wearing known gang clothing started assembling on the sidewalk in front of your house with baseball bats and open carry guns, would you not be intimidated? Even though they have not taken any hostile action, sometimes mere presence is intimidation. Especially if that presence is unusual and armed.

@ViciDraco The post isn't about teenage gangs it's about ICE agents at airports. If you haven't done anything wrong and haven't broken any laws, you have nothing to worry about. If you get nervous because of the presence of police or federal agents, you have a problem.

I'm sure you actually believe that.

But here's the thing: ICE often arrest, beat, and detain people who have done nothing wrong. These people may think they have nothing to worry about, but if an ICE officer doesn't like the look of you then you WILL have a problem.

@ron122 investigators said one immigration enforcement official got away with physically assaulting his girlfriend for years. Another admitted he repeatedly sxxually abused a woman in his custody. A third is charged with taking bribes to remove detention orders on people targeted for deportation.

“Once a person is hired, brought on, goes through the training and they are not the right person, it is difficult to get rid of them and there will be a price to be paid later down the road by everyone,” said Gil Kerlikowske, who served as commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection from 2014 to 2017.

The Border Patrol doubled in size to more than 20,000 agents from 2004 to 2011 — six years longer than ICE took.

It was embarrassed by a wave of corruption, abuse and other misconduct by some of the new hires. Kerlikowske recalled cases of agents who accepted bribes to let cars carrying drugs enter the U.S. or who became involved in human trafficking.

He and others say ICE is poised to see similar problems that will likely be broader in scope, with less oversight and accountability.

@SatanBurger Your little story is cute but there's nothing in your little story about ICE agents trying to intimidate people at airports.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@ron122 It's cute that there's all these issues even said by other border patrol and you straight out want to deny what has been going on. I feel like someone could be being beat right in front of you and you'd still say this.

@SatanBurger You saw videos of ICE agents intimidating people at airports? You really need to stop watching those edited TikTok videos.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@ron122 You've said this regarding all ice videos and so far you can't tell me why it's edited. You can't say what happened in the original incidents.

I don't know about you but whenever I see something fake I usually say, this is fake and here's why. Here's pretty obvious you're just saying it just to say it with no real evidence to contradict anyone else's videos or findings.

Furthermore, border patrol has expressed issues with continuing ongoing ice corruption:

@ron122 yes there's other videos that have come out about ice harassing people at the airports as I said a few responses above to you. No pivot, I've repeated myself several times already
ron122 · 41-45, M
@SatanBurger Then why not post one of those?
