The daughters of a Queens foot doctor say their late father diagnosed President Donald Trump with bone spurs to help him avoid the Vietnam War draft as a “favor” to his father Fred Trump, according to a new report Wednesday.
Dr. Larry Braunstein, a podiatrist who died in 2007, often told the story of providing Donald Trump with the diagnosis of bone spurs in his heels so he could be exempt from military service, his two daughters – Dr. Elysa Braunstein and Sharon Kessel – told the New York Times.

@ElwoodBlues I’m pretty sure that it is not proper US military protocol for the commander in chief to salute a military officer from a country that is it’s enemy. And if that’s true – Trump was likely briefed about it - but he did it anyway figuring it would be a good photo op. Cheers and happy weekend!

Now letting the USAAF use British bases overseas to attack Iran directly has raised a lot of questions and criticism from politicians of all parties.
Their concern, which I share, is that of our country being dragged bit by bit into a war started by Israel and the USA, of dubious legality.
I see in the process,Trump reversing the whole ethos of NATO from a defence pact to supporting unilateral aggression.
The courageous ones are those who stand up to President Trump's increasingly desperate, petulant demands and insults towards other countries.

I don't agree. If I'm running a boarding house as cover for a brothel and the 'pros' are out on the street soliciting people.... Can I say 'that's their business I'm not going to interfere?" - not likely because if they are bringing their clients into the house - then I'm just as complicit whether I look the other way or not.
Oh I am sure there are links but a lot of the Russian on-line crime seems to be from Russian criminal gangs at least tolerated as long as they do not hurt Russians.

@JollyRoger I don’t know the specifics of the bases being referred to in this string, but many of the “US” foreign Air Force bases (and I presume other services) are long term leases. The terms of those leases I do not know. We have Status of Forces (SOFA) agreements. These are legally binding agreements which establish the framework for U.S. military personnel, civilian staff, and their dependents to operate within a host country. It defines the legal status, rights, and responsibilities regarding criminal jurisdiction, taxation, and customs.
If these agreements are in place and being systematically violated by United States forces at the orders of Demented Donnie or Kegsbreath I would like to know exactly how. I would be happy to pass any credible evidence to the IGs and JAGs.

What did ALL of the people in Gaza do to be punished for what Hamas did? Why did BIBI move them out, move them back, move them out, etc.? Why did the IDF kill journalists? Why did the Red Cross people get killed by IDF? Why, Why? Is this not a rather 'extreme' response against civilians?
Sure, I get it that Hamas needs to be destroyed - it's a despicable agency. But WHAT IS THE HURRY to do it? Those tunnels were there, they weren't going to move, the hostages were held over over 2 years and no effective negotiations resulted in their release - so, there was no 'hurry' on that either.
Back to analogies: So you have a scratch on your car? Do you take a spraypaint can and spray the glass, the chrome and everything? (Perhaps you would?)

@LordShadowfire who me nothing to smile about really when the leader of a country is called out as a coward when said leader has issue with a legality of the actions of the supposed leader of the free world. when you look at the said leader of the free world who used a bone spur to dodge the draft and fight for the country he loves hypocrisy comes to mind
