My heart broke when I heard what happened and then all over again when I noticed how this is being treated in the news. Their murder treated as a mere bagatelle. How can anyone read about it and not consider it a war crime?

@FeminineSoul Exactly.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@FeminineSoul Unfortunately, the fact everything about this is illegal doesn't matter. There's no rule of law and nobody with enough power to enforce it.

I'm not for this war. Yet Death by child starvation is worse than immediate death. It adds the element of torture to the children themselves.
And that torture is happening every day by the tens of thousands.
Where does one justification exceed the other? 🤷🏻♂

Oh yeah immigrant children in detainment camps, newborns too and areas known as blue butterflies by which there's a whole group of teen girls in Dilley concentration camp in which people aren't allowed to talk to them nor see them.
I dunno. This administration has been targeting kids specfically this administration is the worst

The US didn't do that. Some beighboring countries did. All US missions are carefully planned out using satelite images and "assets" who were there to plan where the attacts. Little to no collateral damage happens by the US attacks.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Nitedoc I did specify this was Israel.
The notion that this is somehow ethical, competent, or even sane defies all basic thought. Falling for state propaganda on this war is like losing chess to a dog.

Interesting way you have there to reacte to people who honor human lives irrespective of nationality.
If I seen this comment earlier, I wouldn't have bothered answering yours in my post. Because clearly you absolutely do not care about civilian deaths.
What a shame ..you claim to work in healthcare.

This is heartbreaking and anyone who makes excuses for it is a pos

@chernobylplaygr0unds it's not like Americans try to stop it. Uniparty. They bully, ignore and ostracized my kind, blacklisted each person who objects, for a century! And it's not like they even try to have political opposition.
@Roundandroundwego sadly you're right

I always wonder how some authorizes this kind of thing? Do they convince themselves it’s the other sides fault for not giving in? Do they just see the dead as numbers on a chart? Or do you just need to be a psychopath to get to the point where you can order someone to kill children?
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@BrandNewMan Here's my thing.
In the first day of bombing, two schools were attacked and the death tolls change during war. However the death toll I've last read is 108 people because the number keeps going up as bodies are dragged from rubble.
Multiple Israeli politicians and military figures have been quoted to say that killing children is justifiable and necessary. These are easy quotes to find. In addition there's the sheer volume of children killed in the Gazan campaign. Not only has Israel targeted children, but they have defended it and bragged about it.
So forgive me for not granting them the benefit of the doubt when day one of attacking Iran they blow up an elementary school.
The fact that your defence for this is they are merely incompetent, and that does not seem to bother you, beggars belief. What are you morals? What do you even believe in if it is not murder and conquest?

@CountScrofula Peddle your bs elsewhere ..

@BrandNewMan It's my thread dude.
Let me see, how about Germany, the USSR, Cambodia, China, Syria, Myanmar, Russia?
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@EarthlingWise And your profile says you are an atheist so being an atheist Zionist by definition just makes you a supporter of colonialism. Because you don't even have the religious insanity to justify it.
MethDozer · M
@EarthlingWise bridging up the holocaust is just deflecting from the current atrocities at the hands of Israel
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@EarthlingWise How about you share your opinion on if the American/Israeli bombing of Iran is justifiable, and if you believe schools are legitimate military targets rather than playing "whatabout".

@SinlessOnslaught Where is ANY proof they were targeted? Post it.
pride49 · 31-35, M
Israel should be supporting the resistance within Iran instead of ..this
Miram · 31-35, F
It is a coordinated US-Israeli terrorist attack.
Not just an Israeli strike.
Not just an Israeli strike.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Nitedoc The difference between an "air strike" and "coordinated terror attack" is just political framing they're the same thing. Either way it's an act of evil and trying to defend or even grant benefit of the doubt over this is inhuman.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@CountScrofula You don't think air strikes are highly coordinated and organized!?
Strictmichael75 · 61-69, M
It’s a war crime, simple as that, no lame duck excuses
Iran targeted a US base and hit it!
Simple.as thet

PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@Strictmichael75 Iran hit US bases because they were attacked. That is literally how war works.
A base is a legitimate target. Schools, not so much.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow That’s exactly what I am saying
