It’s all starting to make sense to me now.
Last Christmas Trump told American kids that they shouldn't be disappointed if they get a lump of beautiful clean coal for Christmas. And now that he saved the coal industry he is going to get into the Santa biz. And make it a law that Kids (good or bad) have to buy a lump of Beautiful clean coal for Christmas.
And maybe after that he will get into the toy biz and reverse the ban on unsafe toys (like those lawn darts with long metal tips on them. Cheers!

You should do at least a little research prior to embarrassing yourself. China ALREADY has more operational coal plants than the US and is currently building a huge number more. @SunshineGirl

@georgelong China is also leading the world in transitioning away from fossil fuels through the promotion of hydro, solar and wind power. And it has a leader who does not try to convince his people that black is white.

I wouldn't go that far.... China is still a strange regime.
However, they have a long term plan. Trump is just short sighted. Those White Christian Nationalists behind him have a long plan, but it's more culturally based then thinking about their enviorment and the economy.
And it has a leader who does not try to convince his people that black is white.

I can't understand how this kind of thing happens. How anyone can be involved in such events and keep a straight face.

@ninalanyon I remember a time, that I was saying that what happened... is that those people that you find in a smoke filled bar around 3 AM in the morning, have taken over. You know, those people that moan and complain about the same things every night, most toppics that they are totally ignorant about.
Well, in those bars, they sometimes make little trinkets for the guy that fell of his barstool the most during a drinking sessions. That's what this reward reminds me off, it even has the same font.

@georgelong I missed the part where the US has any control over China. Or are you saying that because China is already contributing to our doom, we might as well say screw it and do the same? Because that's a pretty nihilistic way of looking at it, yanno?
