Honestly, I like the idea of such a ban. People often speak of "bad apples" in the police force being the reason for the ones who commit brutal acts against civilians.
Hiring people whose previous job has been targeting and judging people as "illegal” based upon their appearance and skin color is problematic.
And it’s the very last thing we need added to some already volatile confrontations. 🙁
