@Vin53 Good art is open to interpretation. It's a song about a man who served in Vietnam, and when he returns to the states, finds that his service was for nothing and he is denied at every turn searching for help or connection.
It IS patriotic in that the chorus is his lament to his birthright...he was Born in the USA, but he is treated as if he is nothing special and his service was for nothing.

@Vin53 no, I just think that while I'm pretty good at what I do, I don't have a single award to my name, which is a name too obscure to be behind a final jeopardy clue. Minaj's name, on the other hand, could easily be behind the 400$ or 600$ clues
