China is already mining rare earths and rare minerals in Greenland. I mean, they OWN mines and refineries in Greenland...so who could argue that FACT?

@wrule The only reason Taiwan exists as a separate entity is because the USA meddled in the civil war and wanted their own Hong Kong to project American influence in South East Asia.
And Ironically it will likely go the way of Hong Kong too with a peaceful re-unification. Many young people from Taiwan are already going to the mainland for university and for work and more are feeling the government in Taipei has no future for them and that siding with American just makes them a target. And the farther out people get the less they will care about a war in 1949.
Could see the Yanks try a coup to prevent that at some point too.
But time will tell.
