Ovwr the past 50 years or so I'v met, dated, worked with Americans. Most were fine, albeit often with the usual ignorance of the world outside the USA. However, over the last 25 years or so it has become increasingly clear that a significant minority of Americans have become religiously and politically fanatically right wing, as well as even more ignorant of the world, and uneducated. And it is scary just how bad it haz become. Trump was and is an example of this though he's a symptom, not the cause.

I am still able to distinguish wonderful Americans from the vile ideology that has taken hold of the administration. That's mainly because there are so many of them on here alongside the collaborating lackeys of the state apparatus.
I look forward to the nation becoming a functioning whole one day, despite the differences in ideologies that abound.
