What do the non-Americans here think of Americans at the moment?

I was in Europe at the beginning of the second Gulf War and the beginning of Trump's first term. I saw lots of anti-war sentiment the first time but little anti-American sentiment. Similar during the first Trump era but with the universal added question of "How did this happen?". I'm sensing it's different now.
