What do the non-Americans here think of Americans at the moment?

I was in Europe at the beginning of the second Gulf War and the beginning of Trump's first term. I saw lots of anti-war sentiment the first time but little anti-American sentiment. Similar during the first Trump era but with the universal added question of "How did this happen?". I'm sensing it's different now. I am still able to distinguish wonderful Americans from the vile ideology that has taken hold of the administration. That's mainly because there are so many of them on here alongside the collaborating lackeys of the state apparatus.

I look forward to the nation becoming a functioning whole one day, despite the differences in ideologies that abound.
