Didn't a police chief in the UK say that being in America and having free speech wouldn't protect Americans from arrest for violating the UKs new social media laws???

This is part of the visa application, a background check basically. Unlike living in Europe if you don’t like it you don’t have to travel to the US. Unlike Europe it does not apply to those who hold citizenship.

@wildbill83 that would be sensible if you were coming to work. But most people coming to America aren’t. Why would you need background checks if you’re a tourist and since when the social media count as background checks?

@FreestyleArt Nope, it also includes countries who need an ESTA, and in fact it is specifically targeting citizens from those countries, because they're generally seen as "libs". Basically, no country is exempt.
