I don’t like Mike Pence but I applaud him and Mitt Romney for maintaining their dignity and not selling out to the radical right.

@QueenofZaun Same. It's a sad state of affairs that is what gets and deserves applause and credit, but they (and a few others) have earned it the old-fashioned way by not selling out for the expediency of power, cash, and fame.

Good. I've never been a fan of the man's policies, but at least he can talk to people like a civilized adult.

@LordShadowfire And, although it could be argued he was just doing his job, in light of the 6 January insurrection that has been normalized as a "normal tourist day" and a pardonable act, he did stand up to those wanting to hang him to carry America forward. His policies deserve consternation, but his morality and courage deserve credit.
I'll believe it when I see it, currently the people are blindly following tax and spend Trump, who's giving the money to Million and Billionaire and chasing his glory and screwing average Joe...
And yet, Average Joe voted for him...

@MarkPaul Well it's clear that Trump is never been conservative... he's just pro-Trump and anti anything that's not Trump...
Hell, he literally seems more Pro-Putin than he has seemed to be Pro-American if you look at a person's actions and not their words.
And unlike Trump, I've been a life long Republican
I think the issue is that people have confused politics with online political trolling and like Trump for the trolling and that's how they're voting currently...

@sstronaut That's all true and the reason why it is encouraging the tide is starting to turn (back)... slowly for sure but still turning. Pence isn't an innocent bystander by any means. But he does gain credit for (finally) realizing what he was actively involved with during his power-intoxication phase had nothing to do with being a conservative, a Republican, a Christian, or a patriotic American. Too bad he nearly had to learn that lesson by almost getting hanged by the people he thought he was helping to lead.

Too late people. You've cast your lot. Own it.

@MoveAlong I know, right? We all know they're spineless.
