@IronHamster The more I experience the world, the more I believe that Libertarian Left ideas are the best solutions to reduce suffering and increase happiness for the greatest number of people. I was more Libertarian Right (think Ron Paul) when I was younger and less informed.
@ViciDraco There's no such thing as libertarian left. Libertarianism literally requires a minimalist goverment. Leftism requires authoritarianism. The two are mutually exclusive.
@IronHamster Again, the facts disagree with you. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left-libertarianism
Left libertarianism applies a minimalist government solution when it comes to the rights and freedoms of People. However, it does not recognize Business as people. In the way that even Right Libertarianism allows for the governance of crime, so too does Left Libertarianism allow for the governance of Business. Typically in so far as it pertains to ensuring that business does not cause harm to others in the way that we try to prevent people from causing harm to others.
Nothing about Leftist politics requires authoritarianism. Unless you believe that the rights of industry are more important than the rights of people. In which case, I would posit that your system is the one that enforces a caste of masters and servants.
