@AngelUnforgiven A couple of times I put census forms out for the snails to eat. Next time I gave all false information. Since then I've 'not been home' on census night. The ABS (department that conducts the Census here) uses 'linkage keys' in collected data to cross-link information in returned forms to other government databases and form a digital dosier on everyone who agrees to participate.

Once people are forced to get Digital ID, this cross-linking will expand into other areas like social credit scoring, etc.
