Kamala Does Speaking Tour To Remind Nation Why Trump Is President

With President Donald Trump's approval ratings showing signs of decline, former Vice President Kamala Harris dutifully stepped forward to launch a speaking tour to remind the nation why Trump was elected president.

Harris embarked on a media tour this week to simultaneously promote her new memoir, 107 Days, and help voters across the country remember why they voted for Donald Trump instead of her.

"It's important for people to remember why they made this decision," Harris said during one interview. "Remembering is important because of how important it is to remember. And by remembering, we are reminded of what we are remembering. And that is the important thing."

Voters who saw Harris make the rounds on talk shows this week quickly restated their relief that they had voted to elect Trump. "I had been starting to second-guess myself a little bit, but she brought it all back," said Ray Bradley, who voted for Trump last November. "Things have gotten crazy in the world, prices are still high, and the political discourse has gotten even more contentious. But as soon as I heard Kamala speaking, it reminded me of why we absolutely had to vote for Trump. Can you imagine her actually being president? That's a terrifying thought."

At publishing time, Americans from all parts of the nation expressed gratitude for Harris's willingness to remind everyone why they refused to vote for her. "She's really doing us a tremendous service right now," said another voter. "By talking, she's showing us why we wanted so desperately for her to hush."

democrats trying to explain to republicans how victimised they are by censorship..

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I think the salient issue here being that the federal government has no business censoring public opinions about the federal government.

That’s a dangerous precedent to set. Democrat or Republican.

@sunsporter1649 Being banned from a social media platform with its own set terms and conditions that the user must agree to; run by an independent company in the private sector isn’t the same thing as being banned by the federal government who run the FCC.

The federal government runs the FCC and them intimidating people who criticize the federal government is bad. That’s something you would expect from China or Russia. It’s unprecedented for our federal government to censor opinions on the federal government.

It’s not even a left vs right issue. It’s un American regardless of what party you belong to. I don’t want to live in an America where our federal government shuts down criticism. Being able to criticize the government without fear of reprisal, intimidation or legal action is a core foundation of our democracy.

@QueenofZaun abc is a department of the Federal government?
QueenofZaun · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 The FCC is.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QueenofZaun And pissing off viewers with linsesitive comments on a murder and lying and losing $15,000,000 a year had nothing to do with it, right?

@sunsporter1649

Brendan Carr, The Head of the FCC openly threatened Kimmel after he made his Charlie Kirk comments.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QueenofZaun And so did millions of pissed off Americans. including the abc affillates. The comission consists of 3 members who vote on policy, Mr. Carr is only one of three. But then again, You are only pissed off because it was one of you left-wing nut-job marxists that had his "free speech" curtailed. Charlie Kirk had his free speech rights cancelled, but you left-wing nut-job marxists are not upset about that
QueenofZaun · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 Kimmel being banned wasn’t a result of nor dependent on policy vote lol

Charlie Kirk was murdered.

Jimmy complained on his show about the political right using his death for political gain.

Soon afterwards, Brendan Carr, the head of the FCC publicly threatened Jimmy Kimmel for his Charlie Kirk comments.

Disney and its affiliates were intimidated by Carr’s comments and pulled the show off air.

That is a violation of free speech. The federal government should not censor or intimidate citizens who criticize them. Period.

@QueenofZaun “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said.

“In between the grieving on Friday, the White House flew their flags at half-staff, which got some criticism,” he continued, “but on a human level, you can see how hard the president is taking this.” The late show host then played a clip of Trump answering questions from the press about how he was holding up following Kirk’s death. Trump responds, saying that he was “very good,” before shifting the conversation to talk about the construction of the White House’s new ballroom.

“He’s at the fourth state of grief: construction,” Kimmel joked. “This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he called a friend. This is how a four-year-old mourns a goldfish.”

@sunsporter1649 The federal government does not have the right to censor an opinion it does not like.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QueenofZaun Nor did they, abc pulled him after the affillites raised hell, along with millions of Americans who heard about it.
QueenofZaun · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 Incorrect.

They did it immediately after the FCC threatened them.

Let’s not shift the goal post.

@QueenofZaun Like the biden group did for 4 years?

@QueenofZaun ABC pulling Jimmy Kimmel’s show off air is not “the last shoe to drop,” warned Brendan Carr, the Federal Communications Commission chair.

“This is a massive shift that’s taking place in the media ecosystem. And I think the consequences are going to continue to flow,” he told Fox News today.

He credited the shift to President Donald Trump.

Trump has “run directly at these legacy, mainstream broadcasters, and he’s smashed the facade that they get to control what we get to say, what we get to think,” Carr told Fox News.

The public has gotten a “crash course on media law” in the last 24 hours, Carr said.

“The national programmers, Disney, come up with all the programming they want. They are not licensed by FCC, they have no public interest obligation. They can create whatever they want — however good or bad,” Carr said.

However, he said, as local stations are licensed by the FCC and have a public interest obligation to serve local communities, these stations can decide whether the national programmer’s content is in the public interest.

If any programming is disputed, it warrants an FCC complaint, Carr said.

“The last couple of decades, you’ve seen the FCC really step back from enforcing public interest standards, and I don’t think that’s a good thing,” he said. “We’re going back to that era where local TV stations, judging the public interest, get to decide what the American people think.”

The FCC has nothing to do with abc, they can program whatever they want. In this case, they decided to pull kimmil off the air, not the gubberment
QueenofZaun · 26-30, F
@Strictgram Can you list an example of the Biden administration using the FCC to censor free speech?
QueenofZaun · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 The FCC had everything to do with it. They intimidated Disney and ABC into pulling his show.

@Strictgram Trump committed crimes.

That’s a lot different than simply having a differing political opinion.

@QueenofZaun All bogus charges. Only Trump haters still cling to that lie.
QueenofZaun · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 Censorship is wrong regardless of who does it.
