Of course they were ! Since there is no longer anyone to sabotage Trump's administration from within ,the District judges now have to step in and issue rulings that are clearly not withing the scope of their authority.Lawfare 2.0.

@SunshineGirl Ruling on matters that the judiciary clearly has no power over is .The judges are not supposed to have supreme and unquestioned authority any more than the President does.

@DavidT8899 They don't have unquestioned authority. Trump has questioned the decision and will appeal to the Supreme Court.
The court ruled that Trump acted illegally in invoking emergency executive powers to introduce extraordinary taxes. Had he not overstepped his authority and passed the law through Congress, as he should have done, there would be no issue today.
