California School Board Votes to Ban Transgender Athletes from Girls’ Sports, Defying State Policy

On Tuesday, the Kern County Board of Education did something that’s never happened before in California. They voted to ban trans athletes from girls’ sports. First public school board in the state to openly defy Sacramento and side with Trump’s federal definition of Title IX. Let me tell you what this really means – it’s local communities telling the state government where they can stick their radical agenda.

School boards are an instrument of local democracy? So I imagine you will be even more delighted when a school board openly defies an executive order and telks the president where he can stick his reactiionary agenda.
