So? Did y'all have any third party or just these identical corporatist ones? None? No sympathy.

On a per capita basis, DC and NYC have relatively low crime rates compared to a lot of other cities. It's a dumb political stunt that's clearly appealing to a rural base of supporters that never leave their own county.

If he really cared about crime, he'd go to Tennessee or Louisiana or Arkansas where crime is far worse. Going after Democratic strongholds is purely politically motivated.

I love it when they call him a felon when the charges were misdemeanor that were “upgraded” to felony despite being past the time limit to charge someone.

By all means, let’s leave the crime in DC and NYC carry on though…

@3Dogmatic Your opinion notwithstanding, he was convicted on 34 felony counts and that's a fact.

His convictions were not vacated during a new trial, but that's an idea. Why do you think he doesn't want to do that?
3Dogmatic · 46-50, M
@Northwest If you call that a fair trial. Cherry picking venues and prosecutors is not justice. It apparently had the negative effect that they wanted…

The local kangaroo court took their shot and it bounced off. Now they get to see what equal and opposite reactions are all about.

@3Dogmatic Blah, blah, blah. He was convicted on 34 felony counts and that's a fact.

Would love to see him take the stand and clear his name.

I'm going to make a prediction: he's not going to do that.

He just said he is "going to do something for NY but can't tell you now."

You can leave.

@MrBrownstone

I did offer some useful reading material, so maybe she'll take a hint.

Two books you need to read

Both available on Amazon now!
The GOP also backed a vigilante who admitted to faking violent crimes in the 80s and 90s to make themselves look like heroes. I would not trust any of it.

He should try.

Rid them of crime.... or change their politics?

Does the President of the USA, of any Party, have the constitution and legal power to take control of cities for any reason?

Well, the democrats sure can't get the crime under control. Oh, that's right democrats love crime and violence.
@ron122 So no more states rights?
