Tyson shuts down multiple factories, fires 5,000 people with no warning

Due to tariffs, in fact, many rural communities are closing everything, even school programs. So now America is becoming ghost towns, especially rural.

They're losing income.

Any kind of automation will always be faster and more efficient than a human worker.

Automation can run 24/7 with no need to sleep or take sick leave.

Sadly when it came to factory work the town of Tyson put all its eggs in one basket and paid the price.

It’s not cost effective to run a slow inefficient factory. That’s business 1.01

A quick search will tell you that this happened in 2023 during the Biden Administration.

Per ChatGPT:
Yes, Tyson Foods recently laid off a significant number of employees. In late 2023, the company announced plans to cut around 5,000 jobs as part of a restructuring effort to improve operational efficiency. This decision was part of their broader strategy to streamline processes, focus on automation, and address changes in the food industry. These layoffs impacted various departments, including corporate roles and some operational positions.

Tyson's restructuring efforts have been influenced by several factors, including supply chain challenges, fluctuating demand in certain markets, and increasing automation in food production. It's part of a larger trend in the food industry, where companies are adapting to new technologies and evolving consumer habits.

@SatanBurger I did watch it. Near the beginning it clearly says the decision was made a couple of years ago.

It's what the majority of people claim they wanted. Let them enjoy their moment because by the time they awaken and realize they never really "owned the libs," their chosen saviour will be nursing his rotting brain. At least they will stink to high heaven with their $250 bottle of Cry-Baby-trump cologne.

@independentone Me either, it's hard to care. I care to the extent of innocent people who might die due to their actions like what happened in Texas with the floods or whatever. It's well known that Trump dismantled a bunch of weather service stuff. They didn't deserve to die and could have been prevented.

But at the same time, it is what red states voted for. They don't deserve it but they also wanted it so I just don't really have empathy. It just is what it is at this point.
