Are u for or against illegal immigration 🔐

Of course many of you are aware of the deportations going on here in the US right now.
I think most of us are against anything illegal.
But here's the problem. President Trump seems so eager to get certain demographics of people out of the US for his own personal reasons or agenda. But what about the people he pardoned
from January 6. Do you see the hypocrisy here. We are talking about a federal crime here . You cannot expect people to follow the law when you are breaking them yourself. What is your opinion on this mess. Answers please. 🙄

Following his pardoning of the January 6 rioters, Trump cannot make any pronouncement on the rule of law without being guilty of clear hypocrisy.

For most of us, following laws is a given and a public virtue in itself. However, when authoritarian or anti-democratic methods are used to enforce those laws, or the economic and social damage outweigh the public utility of a particular piece of legislation, then it is moral to consider breaking them.

And of course the freedom for individuals to disagree and protest goes without saying in a just society.

@SunshineGirl Small point of order. Hypocracy has never bothered Trump in the past. I doubt he even noticed it.. Certainly his MAGAts never did..😷
