So...trump says farm and hotel workers should be looked at. An order may come in to protect these people. Huh🤔. How do you trump people feel about that? When it has been brought up here, you go on about immigrants taking your jobs. Bringing down labor costs. You chastised us for advocating slave labor. You didn't care about the farmers, their farms, food shortages, or the immigrants themselves. Now...hotel workers(of course hotel workers) and farm labor may well be exempt from being ejected. Construction workers? Are they next? I am very interested in your opinions. Are you worried that you may not get to see more humans being chased down in fields? Or you pleased that trump willl get to keep his cheap labor at his properties?
He got a few calls from the House members who represent farm districts, and his hoteliers buddies, so he switched from "this is the biggest deportation in history", which won him the election. Now he's going to back to the exact thing people with brains pointed out: if you deport them, our economy will collapse.
@Northwest where did he think twenty million people would come from? This i think, will give him latitude to target people in places he hates. Like California. This will get ugly. Deciding, because of where you are employeed, and by whom, whether a person can be disappeared or left alone. People are not commodities.

Very reasonable questions to ask, of those who fit the criteria in the asking. I've seen all those defenses and accusations here too, by those agree with and applaud what has clearly been the indiscriminate targeting of certain kinds of people who are not guilty of being violent gang members, rapists, murderers, violent at all...or guilty of any the descriptors Trump has used in his defense of what he so proudly started.
While I wouldn't want to be anywhere near inside Stephen Miller's head, I'm guessing it looks like a black and red goo of hatefulness.
@GerOttman i watched his mouth move, and those words came forth. So, yeah. Don't be confused, though. It hurts his business. And the farmers? Last term, he spent the majority of his tariff income bailing them out. Ridding them of labor and increasing their production costs would not only ruin small farms but also take some dollars from farm conglomerates. It's the latter he is concerned for.
There are agencies out there who bring immigrants in legally to work on farms don’t try and protect the illegals. They came into this country illegally, and they need to be taken back to their countries if they wanna come in, fill out the proper documentation and be allowed to come in by our government
These farm workers and hotel staff are destroying my way of life. All of their fruit and vegetable picking and room cleaning is bringing out the worst in me. And my yard man. Don't get me started. Waking me up before noon with his mowers and weed eaters. This lowlife is actually sending his daughter to one of our great universities. Sheeesh!
@Carla Oh but you claim Trump's deportations are going to ruin farming and the hotel industry. Clinton signed into law a bill that says illegals are not entitled to due process...yet you libs conveniently forgot about that. The Supreme Court has given illegals due process (that they are not entitled to), but in a Texas court . No longer can illegals and democrat politicians shop around for a corrupt lib judge to give them a trial date to never show up for. Now they appear before the Texas judge who wishes them a free and safe flight home.

@faery well stated. I am very interested in the knots the cult will twist themselves into to justify trump's above statements and their own strong words to the contrary. It must be difficult having no standards.
They're used to skipping standards. And they will, just as easily as Trump, claim this modification to immigration policy was his idea and how they felt all along.
