well considering he is losing approval points, I suspect he would get less - especially if we knew what he was going to do in his first 30 days in office.

MORE!!!! Because he has a 52% approval rating. MORE than half the country is thrilled with the way he is keeping his campaign promises, AND he is even bringing some Democrats over to his way of thinking!
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
More. You might see more votes in totality for Harris, but he would still win...social media and legacy media is completely out of touch with "normies" non political people who don't care about politics until its time to vote.

He got just less than half the vote, 49.soemthing percent, Harris, a flawed candidate not selected in a primary got 48.something percent. While Trump likes to say he won big he was put in officer by a small number of people who made the difference. If the election were tomorrow he would likely still win, seems both the democrats and the Trumpsters don't realize why what happened happened. Trump did not win because people thought he was the answer he won because he ran against a flawed candidate. If Trump ran tomorrow against a centrist democrat, the democrat would wipe the floor with him.
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
His approval rating has taken a slight dip, while his disapproval rate has risen modestly. You could interpret that as reasonable proof he'd get less votes, but to hold a whole new election in 24 hours is chaotic and probably won't ever hope to see the same amount of votes as an election with early, absentee, and mail-in voting.
@TinyViolins On that short notice, it won't give Russia the chance to rig it again

He’d be awarded life time tenure and invited to visit each country with his DOGE

I don't think that he can stand again... I'm sure they have a two term cap to give the next guy in line a chance...

@HootyTheNightOwl it was a hypothetical question
@catsanddogs It just doesn't make sense - especially when it's a situation that can never be repeated without major changes in the law.

His most momentous policy aspirations were only announced after the election, which tells me even he thinks he wouldn't do so well today

At this point, Trump would probably lose Texas.

And why is that?

@Snuffy1957 His approval is quickly dropping because, well, you see the clown show that is the government right now.

@Thewhazzupdude How would you know? You wouldn't recognise common sense if it slapped upside the head.

Even more than the landslide last November. He is enjoying the highest polling numbers of his political career. The DemoNazis have the LOWEST approval ratings of all time.
