I would be in favor of cutting Congress in half. One Senator per state and half the number of House members. I also think the President should serve one six year term.

By the way, don't call me dumb again.

It was never meant to be a full time job with golden perks.. they’ve voted for that themselves over the years.
In the age of ZOOM. Do they even need to leave their electorates/states to simply vote on a bill?
They trust a dancing with the stars phone in poll… and no ID voting…

@jshm2 Yeah, but if he finishes Schedule F, then it won't matter. The Nazis never had majority support, Mussolini had relatively little support. But they had the military, enough of the public, and the political establishment. That's all that matter when it comes to Authoritarianism.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Wrong. He won that by 1.5M votes. @jshm2

It's ad hoc anti government, imposing chaos on the passive and never leftist country! It's justice, the country goes along. Let it!
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
Might as well, as Trump is just ignoring the law, anyway.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
Give it another few months... and there is a good chance that the house and senate will be out of business anyway
BohemianBabe · M
@Kwek00 There is, though I think it's more likely that Republicans will maintain an appearance of democracy. America will probably still have elections, though it'll be like in the Soviet Union, where the candidates were first approved by the dictator. So the function of congress will just be to maintain that democratic appearance.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@BohemianBabe I'm aware... but from my perspective, there is no busisness in a facade like that.
Reason10 · 70-79, M
Trump is doing the best thing possible to get rid of waste in Government. He's going DIRECTLY after the fraud.
Now, what would be nice would be the Department of Justice and the FBI looking into Democrat Congressmen who magically become multi millionaires by insider trading (WHICH BY THE WAY IS ILLEGAL.)
Maybe apply the law to ALL and not just those of us who pay the bills.

@Reason10 Yet it's the blue states who support all you lazy red state people who seem incapable of supporting yourselves.

Interesting. Certainly all the ones 75 and older for starters.

The first step is convicting and jailing Schiff.

Indeed. Also all senate and congress people with net worth in excess of $40M whose net worth was $4M or less when elected. The is virtually per se corruption. @MarthannBann888
