As for Tesla, take a minute to read our public filings and you will see that EV incentives represent a minor part of our revenue. On the other hand, oil & gas companies get massive tax breaks that exceed those given to the EV industry by several orders of magnitude.

I also think that some spending is not wasteful and is worthwhile to prevent corruption, like background checks, ethics counsel, and Inspectors General.
@JSul3 well seeing as social security has never been audited, yes I believe it , they sent my dad checks for about 9 years after he passed away and that was 10 years ago I had to take hi birth certificate to their office after I had called them, about 15 times and only then did they start to stop selling the checks
