Why havent Trump strikred a deal with Putin
And end the war in ukraine as he promised is it because he hasd no leverage over Putin and Putin not being intressted in making a deal with Trump.

@Elessar If the war ended tomorrow, Russia's economy would collapse right away. Putin will never voluntarily agree to a permanent ceasefire.

It is well known that FDR LIED to get America into a shooting war in Europe and Asia because his New Deal mess had deepened the Depression and a war was the only way out.
The Democrats of the Sixties expanded the economy of America with the Vietnam War. (Last time the federal budget was balanced was in 1969, when Defense was the largest item on the budget--instead of Entitlements.)
Thing is, Trump holds all the cards. He can get Russia to stop just by the threat of tariffs. That's how he led the world to peace in his first term.

The shooting war in Europe didn't happen by FDR choice, Germany would've done what its done with or without American intervention.
He doesn't really, Russia is autonomous from America and not particularly afraid of tariffs since they're already under sanctions. They already have back channels to evade the sanctions, and with those they'll evade also the tariffs (on things they import; they won't export much to you).

That's exactly the approach that has been tried from 2022 to today. Continue to arm the defender until Russia empties the Soviet warehouses, claim they've reached their "objectives" because they won't admit a failure, and go back home. @Elessar Actually, there was no need. There was ZERO hostilities between the two countries during Trump's legally elected period in office. Had Biden not stolen the election, there never would have been a war.

@Reason10 Putin already invaded Ukraine in 2014. Before that, Georgia (not the state ofc lol), South Ossetia and Abkhazia (2008), Chechnya (1999-2009), Dagestan, Transnistria (1992). It's got nothing to do with America and who's sitting in the WH, they're imperialistic and it's only a matter of time before they expand elsewhere.
They attacked in 2022 only because the western economies were still dealing with the fallout from COVID and they (wrongly) assumed we were all fatigued and would've let them get away with it easier than if they attacked at any other time. Nothing more than that.

Russia clearly and openly preferred Trump to win because they assumed America would weaken itself by electing him, same as they do with similar candidates in all the other countries as well.
Also I've seen no evidence against Biden and Trump's name is on Epstein's island flight logs.
