@eli1601 Still not as exciting as the 2016 WS. Game 7 of the ALCS was a blowout. Also, to the rest of America outside of the Northeast, the Yankees and the Red Sox are basically viewed as the same. No one takes sides in their rivalry.

You'd better take a look at this map. Just look at which teams rank as #1, 2 or 3 in popularity around the country.

Their fandoms sure aren't limited to the Northeast.

What the hell is going in Salt Lake City? Or New Mexico? Or Wyoming? Or much of Colorado? Or Nebraska? Or in the Dakotas? Even in much of Kansas? Even in the Deep South? Yes, Alaska, too.

Speaking from his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, during an event on fighting antisemitism, Trump praised the late Las Vegas casino magnate as "one of the greatest businessmen in the world," before addressing Sheldon Adelson's widow to make a comparison between the Medal of Honor and the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor, which is typically given for significant achievements in the arts, public service and other fields.

"I watched Sheldon sitting so proud in the White House when we gave Miriam the Presidential Medal of Freedom. That's the highest award you can get as a civilian. It's the equivalent of the Congressional Medal of Honor..."
