Are you optimistic about the UK rn?

The British luxuriate in bad news, so that is not necessarily an accurate measure. We have a decent and competent government for the first time since 2010. Conditions are challrnging here as in the rest of the world, but there are good grounds for cautious optimism 👍🇬🇧

Well, the new government isn't lying to us about the state of the country, as the Tories were. So therefore, if they say they're fixing it, but it will take time, I believe them.

I'm optimistic.
