Animal Farm, 1984, and Brave New World are excellent blueprints for what could happen if global society continues to cater to the whims the likes of Putin, Kim-Jung-Un, Xi, Orban, and Insurrectionist-Cry-Baby-trump.

@MarkPaul The bigger problem is you have lied about being a psychologist and tried to diagnose people over the internet for daring to disagree with you.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Thanks for proving my point. All the factors I have described are from evidence I have culled from your meanderings, ramblings, and personal grievance rants. And, the fact you feel the need and can't seem to help yourself from doing it to turn this on me only accentuates how psychotic you are.
That being said, I continue to make myself available to you for consultation, education, and/or guidance. I just won't be able to be a mentor to you. Not with your attitude and behaviour as they stand today. I am doing what I can to extend an olive branch to you. Now that you have been diagnosed as a psychopath, I certainly understand that you might not be able to take me up on my gracious offer to help you.

I mean I agree with the problem of allowing autocratic leaders dictate society.
But I think we can find better role models than a homophobic, racist 5th column MI5 snitch and CIA stooge used as a "socialist" tool to discredit actual attempts at a socialist state.

@Guitarman123 Ummm no. We have cold war propaganda that he was a dictator. They are not facts. In fact even the CIA said based on the facts it was not even remotely a dictatorship.
But the lie was politically useful.
It had nothing to do with maintaining an ally and everything to do with justifying the cold war and the red scare.
And "common knowledge" is very frequently factually incorrect.

So many people wrongly assume that Animal Farm is about socialism.
Orwell himself said it isn't.
If you look at the criticism the Animals in the story have them all those things happen under capitalism.

@Guitarman123 Oh, right. I couldn’t swear to it then, but he probably represents Czar Nicholas II. As the song goes, “Meet the new boss/Same as the old boss.”

george orwell is commonist. evil.
@Theyitis Because they do not know the true meaning of real Socialism, and in that vein, neither do leftist dems. Read the Preamble of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights closer and ponder them, seriously study them, the founding fathers embraced and endorsed true Socialism
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@NativePortlander1970 Interesting point of view.
@Theyitis Seriously, study the Preamble and the Bill of Rights, it starts with We the People, mentions the welfare of the People, and the Bill of Rights limits the government's power over We the People, giving us, We the People, the actual power.

Lets be clear here. The "working class" dont have to take care by revolution. They can better take charge by maintaining a strong transparent government that balances their interests with profitable progress.

Well, it would appear the working class in the United States just took a quantum leap in deciding their own destinies. They FIRED the DemoNazis and put Trump back in charge.

As a follow up, here is a pretty good summary of where America is now and what the options are..

Then you end up with a bunch of unemployed, uneducated Americans who choose their next President, who in turn throws his supporters under the bus, who then tries to take over the world. That is why the world should never be tolerant of the working class of the United States being allowed to choose the President of the United States.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@SandWitch Your view of the world is clouded by your ignorance, the colossal chip on your shoulder, and your illusion that you speak or represent the world at large. In the long term your personal anger will eat you up inside to the point you will not be able to contain yourself. In other words, you will become like "the American base" who seeks retribution, vengeance, and fantasy protection from a dictator who manipulates into telling you what you want to hear.
In short, you don't speak for any of us. You only speak for your own narrow and petty emotional interests fueled by propaganda from China, Russia, and North Korea.

MarkPaul, I feel sorry for your obtuse ignorance as an American who quite frankly is very good at representing your American base's self-interests. The only way that Americans will learn about themselves is from what others like myself will tell them as we look in through your windows and see abject poverty and crumbling infrastrcture within your country's borders. We don't have any of that where I live because we don't think like Americans over here.
Your problem Mark, is your unwillingness to accept your own truth when it's presented to you on a silver platter and you've always presented yourself that way, which means this time is no exception for you. That is why Americans like you either didn't vote at all and now live in total regret, or simply voted for Trump because they didn't have the education to hold a job that could afford them the cost of raising a family and they thought Trump could fix it.
I cannot help it that only 43% of all Americans ever became educated beyond the level of high school graduation, but when I see how Americans vote today, it makes me realize that Americans have become so deluded in thought that they actually believe that their President has so much power that he can actually control the cost of milk and eggs in their grocery store, it saddens me to think that such a grotesque number Americans have died on foreign soil defending such a delusional state of perverse American mindset that now hangs over your country like the dubious form of a mushroom cloud in a slow descent.
