And I feel pretty good about saying that without even looking at judges decision or testimony. Trump's statements about valuations and his conduct in other transactions in "defense" of that case in the media is enough for me, since I'm not on the bench or a juror.

If the President leaves office (dies, resigns) or is incapacitated (and that is acted upon by his/her Cabinet), the VP becomes President, not the Speaker.

This is what happened to make Gerald R. Ford President--Nixon resigned. Then Ford chose a VP. The Speaker was never President due to only the President leaving his position.
