@Baremine I was mostly thinking about his ego when I said not entirely rational.
Often, he's very rational, though, especially in terms of his own short term self interest. For example, take the Zelensky call. Why shouldn't he get a political favor in exchange for doing his job?
And why should he keep promises like releasing his tax returns when he can get away with it?
Why should he not inflate his properties and falsify documents if he can still get elected President and avoid prosecution?
Why should he worry about the consequences of his actions for others, especially down the road, as long as he profits now?

@Baremine Maybe a lot of people believe that, but I doubt it's everyone.
And I feel pretty good about saying that without even looking at judges decision or testimony. Trump's statements about valuations and his conduct in other transactions in "defense" of that case in the media is enough for me, since I'm not on the bench or a juror.
