Trump is saying "We gave the choice on abortion back to the states"....as if that's supposed to be a good thing.

How is women dying or losing their ability to have children a good thing just because their state got to take away their right to bodily autonomy?

Come on, MAGA, pro-birthers....make this make sense.

Everyone is about "states rights issues" so long as it's a right they care about. Due to so many conflicting issues, abortion cannot continue to be a states rights issue. Thankfully I already voted the sob out and I'll continue to do it again.

@GohantheThird Yup, we need RvW back again, since abortions have gone way up since it was turned over to the States, need to reduce the number of abortions, right?
@GohantheThird

Except me.
@sunsporter1649 if you want fewer abortions, you need to provide women with contraceptives and proper sex ed courses. Have the places where these are issues are due to poverty and poor education.

@GohantheThird Have all the abortions you want, don't expect the rest of us to pay for it
@sunsporter1649 you wouldn't. You didn't before, so why would you now?

@GohantheThird Planned Parenthood receives money from the government in two main ways: reimbursements for providing services to people covered by Medicaid and grants from government agencies, primarily HHS. In FY 2015, the Congressional Budget Office estimated that Planned Parenthood received $390 million in federal and state Medicaid reimbursements, making it the nonprofit's single largest stream of revenue.
@sunsporter1649 but outside of rape or incest, none of those funds go towards abortion. It's all maintenance man.

@GohantheThird ...and a partridge in a pear tree
@sunsporter1649 Abortion should be paid for with taxes, but sadly that's not the case.
@sunsporter1649 if you have one, what's your point?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@sunsporter1649 Abortion is healthcare. Healthcare should be free at the point of service.
@sunsporter1649

Yup.

So you're upset that Trump is happy about overturning RvW, right?

Rhetoric blinds, try thinking instead.

So you've acknowledged that the abortion bans actually result in MORE abortions...and yet you support them.
Make it make sense, boy🤣
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Pikachu And you are wanting RvW back because under RvW abortions were lower. Make sense, girlie
@sunsporter1649

....yes.
Fewer abortions, more bodily autonomy....it's a win/win.

lol you're arguing against yourself😂😂😂

Now answer me, boy: access to abortion healthcare actually results in fewer overall abortions. So if you want fewer abortions, why do you support a ban on abortion?

Go on...share with the class😁

@Pikachu Who ever said anything about an abortion ban except you left-wing nut jobs?

@sunsporter1649 Trump has been all about abortion bans since day one. It's the entire reason that he ran on a republican platform, and the only reason he has backed down is because it's blowing up in his face.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Pikachu You mean there are no abortions in Texas or Florida?
@sunsporter1649

Effectively, yes.
Especially Florida which bans abortion before many women will even know they're pregnant, doesn't account for threat to the woman's life and may only allow for it in the case of rape and incest IF they can prove it with legal documents.

lol did you think you were making your case, boy? LMAO did you actually? The punitive and restrictive measures on abortion INCREASE THE RATES OF ABORTION and INCREASE the rates at which women are suffering as a reuslt.

Oh and here's the other thing, boy: Since doctors can be criminally tried as a result, they're leaving these states which creates a healthcare desert which additionally affects anyone trying to get healthcare in any other area.

So to recap: bans and restrictions on abortion actually INCREASE the number of aborted pregnancies, reduce access to healthcare for all citizens and infringe on the right of bodily autonomy.

Do you get it, you absolute plodding animal?🤣🤣🤣

Go on, make your case. I know you won't but i'm busting a gut watching you try🤭
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Pikachu Ah, so there are abortions in Florida and Texas, how about that!
