Iran is now attacking Israel with hundreds of missiles. Remember, this is what Israel wanted.

Do you hope your Mullah friends will win?

@helenS Who knows what will happen now. But Netanyahu must be rubbing his hands.

@Roundandroundwego Israel's neighbors have mostly vowed to eliminate it. Israel has not vowed to eliminate any country or ethnic group. They fight for their own existence!

@samueltyler2 There's not much I can do for my Jewish friends, but at least I'm a sponsoring member of "Honest Reporting", a pro-Israel media watchdog:

@samueltyler2 that just isn't true, Israel has been trying to expand its territory for decades now.
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 That is not entirely true. They have their own "river to the sea" intentions. So, they want the Palestinians in Gaza and the West bank to go bye-bye.
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 Most of them aren't siding with the terrorists. They want the terrorists gone, too. They are instead on the side of civilians who are being driven from their homes. And it is not antisemitic to oppose Israel foreign policy.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@trollslayer how do your u know that "most of them aren't siding with the terrorists?" How many have you spoken to? If it is not antisemitic to oppose Israel policies, why the chant, the river to the sea? Does that not mean destroy the country and the Jews living there?
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 israel uses the same language. Both sides want all of the land, and clearly demonstrate that.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@trollslayer there is a big difference, there is no statement in the documents of Israeli statehood saying that. The very former my documents of Hamas states that goal.
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 netanyahu waived around a map just the other day that did not show the west bank, or gaza on it. I’d say that is pretty official.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@trollslayer and you were actually able to examine the map?
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 there’s photos of it.

https://www.commondreams.org/news/netanyahu-map

And this from David Ben Gurion: "The present map of Palestine was drawn by the British mandate. The Jewish people have another map which our youth and adults should strive to fulfill — From the Nile to the Euphrates."
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@trollslayer in that map the entire area of Israel is so small how can you say what you did without your tongue firmly placed in your cheek. As for Ben Gurion, you do know he died decades ago?
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 yes, but he practically founded israel. So maybe not in the “documents of statehood” but it was from their “founding father”

As for the map - I draw maps for a living. You make maps to show what is important. If it can show on the scale of your map, you make blow up or label with a leader line. It can be done if you want to. This is not a map scale issue. Netanyahu clearly showed things that way for a reason.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@trollslayer and you are obviously a mind reader!
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 israel forbids maps showing gaza and west bank in classrooms: https://www.timesofisrael.com/tel-aviv-marks-green-line-on-classroom-maps-bucking-education-ministry/

Government policy since 1967. What does that imply about palestinians living there?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@trollslayer I suggest you reread the article you posted. It is very interesting indeed. Maybe I missed the statement that the government forbids such maps.
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 “defying an Education Ministry edict prohibiting maps that show the Green Line.” First paragraph.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@trollslayer nice job cherry picking one line, I suggest you read the entire article in context.
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 i did. Anything you want to point out that suggests something different than what I said?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@trollslayer I simply said that the article discusses a desire to educate the students in history, not to ban it, while you picked on isolated comment..
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 yes, from a more liberal city and against the policies of the Israel Education Ministry. One city trying to buck the policy of brainwashing children for decades.
