The GOP wonders why Trump is targeted not Biden/Harris

Do you ever have one of those friends who constantly complains about bad stuff happening to them, yet everyone knows they bring much of it on themselves? That’s the GOP right now. Whining that they didn’t fact check Harris as much as Trump. Whining that the “media” is against them. Whining, whining, whining.

Are they incapable of self-reflection? It’s like the person who constantly complains his/her partners all turn out to be losers, and no ability to figure out why.

I watched about the first 40 minutes of the "debate" between Harris and Trump, and during that time I didn't notice any bias on the part of the moderators. Maybe that happened afterwards, but during those first 40 minutes I got the very strong impression that Donald Trump was just carrying on like a petulant crybaby.
That's one of the things I really do not like about that man; he's like a spoilt teenager constantly complaining that "It's just not fair!" to his parents when they set boundaries. He came across to me as being immature, and I'm sure no one wants someone who is immature leading their nation.
Maybe DeSantis would have been a better choice, but I really do think that Trump should just go back to playing golf.

@Bellatrix2024 That's basically it for me. Ideally, I would like a president who speaks optimistically, leads through example, is capable of listening to and understanding all viewpoints, and can serve as a role model for the country and the world. Trump has none of that.

This is actually the moth and flame effect in action. MAGAts have been capturd by the flame and fly only in its orbit, oblivious to all other influences. They talk to MAGA people and only get their news from MAGA sources. Its literally a blinkered world they live it. The idea that Trump is fact check so often because he is the one that NEEDS fact checking, sails right on through to the keeper. They live in MAGA world and never stick their head up to see if they have a shadow on Groundhog Day..😷

You can say the exact same thing about those on the Left of the political spectrum as well. That's why I can't stand either party, either "side" in this horrid freak-show.

@Bellatrix2024 You can. But you would be wrong. While most mass media in ther US is second rate on a good day, Trumpers consider "bias" to be anything that doesnt favour Trump. While favoring the other side (I refuse to call Democrats the Left, because they are still the right. Just not the rabid right) does happen, it is usually backed with actual facts; not those alternative ones about Huge crowds and cats and dogs being eaten. Trumps history of lies is palpable in a way that even US politicians really need to be stunned by.😷

@RedBaron Exactly. The first shooter definitely wasn't. The second had political postings and opinions, but not in a traditional sense. Really can't say he was "triggered" by anything said by the left or right - the man clearly has issues.

Trump 'utopia', no tax on tips or overtime. I'm guessing, of course, that the middle class will all be working at jobs that receive tips and work at that job more than 40 hours a week 🤔
