Actually Trump offered the national guard and pelosi declined to accept them. So Jan 6th is in the hands of democrats.

@BizSuitStacy Determining the extent of Nancy Pelosi's responsibility for the events of January 6, 2021, requires understanding the complexities of the security decision-making process at the U.S. Capitol, the chain of command, and the available evidence regarding the events leading up to and on that day. Here is a breakdown of the key points relevant to this question:
1. Roles and Responsibilities in Capitol Security:
The Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, is not directly responsible for day-to-day security decisions at the U.S. Capitol. Instead, security decisions are primarily managed by the Capitol Police Board, which includes the House and Senate Sergeants at Arms, the Architect of the Capitol, and the U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) Chief.
The House Sergeant at Arms (Paul Irving) and the Senate Sergeant at Arms (Michael Stenger), who were involved in security decisions leading up to January 6, report to their respective legislative leaders (Pelosi for the House Sergeant and the Senate Majority Leader for the Senate Sergeant). However, this reporting relationship does not necessarily mean they take direct orders on operational security decisions.
2. Evidence from Capitol Police Timeline and Testimony:
The timeline from the Capitol Police shows that USCP Chief Steven Sund made multiple requests for National Guard support ahead of January 6, which were not approved by the Sergeant at Arms. According to Sund's testimony, he informed Irving and Stenger of the escalating risk and requested additional support, but they did not act on it promptly.
Sund suggested that the decision-making process was influenced by the political implications of bringing in the National Guard. However, there is no concrete evidence that Pelosi directly intervened or instructed the Sergeants at Arms to deny the National Guard requests.
3. Decision-Making and Communication:
Decisions about deploying the National Guard are complex and involve coordination between multiple agencies, including the Department of Defense, the Capitol Police, and the Mayor of D.C. While Pelosi may have been aware of security concerns, there is no documented evidence that she had the final say or that she explicitly denied a request for additional security.
4. Criticism and Political Context:
Some critics, particularly from conservative circles, argue that Pelosi bears some responsibility because of her role as Speaker and her influence over the House Sergeant at Arms. They claim that as the top-ranking House official, she would have had to be informed of major security decisions.
Supporters of Pelosi counter that security preparations are the domain of the Capitol Police and the Sergeant at Arms, who act independently and make decisions based on security assessments and intelligence.
5. Findings from Investigations:
Investigations by Congress, including the January 6th Select Committee, have not found evidence directly implicating Pelosi in the failure to approve additional National Guard support or other specific security lapses. Instead, these investigations have focused more on the failure of intelligence, inter-agency communication, and the role of former President Donald Trump and his rhetoric in inciting the violence.
Conclusion:
Nancy Pelosi's responsibility for the events of January 6 is limited by the fact that she was not directly involved in operational security decisions or the denial of National Guard requests. While she may have been kept informed as Speaker of the House, the evidence does not support the claim that she was directly responsible for the security failures. The primary responsibility for security rests with the Capitol Police Board and the relevant law enforcement agencies.
The focus of blame for January 6 often reflects political perspectives, but in terms of procedural accountability, there isn't conclusive evidence that Pelosi was responsible for denying necessary security measures that could have prevented the events of that day.

What is your point? Are you suggesting Trump is a hypocrite? This does not make him wrong. Do the Democrats and the media tell lies about him or not?
They say his presidency will be the end of democracy. Earlier this year, the Democrats, and the media said Trump wanted a bloodbath. Kamala repeated it in their recent debate. Telling your country that a presidential nominee wants a bloodbath, and whose aim is to destroy democracy, is going to enrage and influence people. Other slurs you use are rapist, felon, and racist.

@emiliya
In fact, from now on, whenever you lie about the definition of a word, that's all I'm going to do. I'm going to let you argue with the dictionary.
Of course slurs can be facts. I have been called slurs that are true.
If it's true, then it's not a slur. How is that a difficult concept? Here, let me show you that definition again. In fact, from now on, whenever you lie about the definition of a word, that's all I'm going to do. I'm going to let you argue with the dictionary.
emiliya · 22-25, F
@LordShadowfire Your source also says that a slur can be a “remark about somebody or something that may damage other people’s opinion of them.” Why aren't you following?
“If it's true, then it's not a slur. How is that a difficult concept?”
Your definition has nothing to do with what Elwood has said. Did you say that a slur cannot be true? No.
What is truth to you?

Well, considering all the hatred the democrats spread and planted into the weak minds over the years with their lies and scams, it's not so hard to believe!

@LordShadowfire Oh those words pieced together with video of the Liberals burning and looting. I saw those. Anyone with a brain knows that was a democrat setup! We don't riot like you leftwing loons. Check out the videos of democrat's inciting violence after George Floyd got killed. That will spin your lib head! Kamala and company bailed them out after the looting and fires.

It doesn't take much to set a lib nut job off. A corrupt secret service can get you shot at quite often, then the rhetoric ( threat to democracy ...what joke) . Libs want to win by any means necessary.

There was a post the other day about Trump having a personality disorder (Psychopath or Narcissist). If you look at the descriptions for these disorders, you will see that Trump clearly has many traits of both. Generally, the MO for these people is to play the victim in order to win them sympathy and/or favor. I think they actually do think they view themselves as victims - it's more than just a "game".
The problem is now - he has spent years playing the victim in order to boost his own ego, and now has a large following of mentally unstable people following him. While many of the things he says can be brushed off as "jokes" or "Trump being Trump" or don't sound that much different than what other politicians have said from time to time - the fact that he is saying these things daily to some mentally disturbed people is a bomb that is starting to explode.
This guy is clearly unhinged and has been for years. Yeah, he aligned himself with the left more recently (at least on social media), it appears he was at first a rabid MAGA guy back in 2015-2016 and then Trump disappointed him. From what I understand, there are others on the fringe right who have taken similar turns - rabid MAGA, and then Trump did or didn't do something that made them think that he was not the guy to lead them. Now they want Trump out of the way so that their movement has a new leader. Look at how many celebrities are stalked/assaulted by rabid fans.
The problem with Trump is he craves that attention.

Here is the appendix to the Capitol Police Department Timeline from Dec. 16 - Jan 4. As you read through the notes, the police receive escalated reports of possible violence. I'm Jan 4th, Capitol Police Chief Sund meets with the Sgt. if Arms for the House and Senate, and requests additional Nat Guard resources. Pelosi and McConnell are the decision makers, and the requests were denied.

Both sides lie. No one has a monopoly on telling untruths. Trump lies. Harris has done nothing but lie since she was illegally instilled as the Democrat candidate. Anyone who thinks the lying is one sided is short sighted. And last I heard, no one has pointed or shot a weapon at Biden or Harris. And I am grateful for at least that much.
@SW-User Trump is not part of the both sides, he's anti establishment, he has no reason for lying.

PBS followed up a few days later with: “Trump says he didn’t know his immigration rhetoric echoes Hitler. That’s part of a broader pattern.”
Yet, a bare month before those two gems appeared, the Washington Post informed its readers about “How Trump’s rhetoric compares with Hitler’s.”
In May, the Los Angeles Times put its two-pfennigs in this far-left fever-dream: “Trump and GOP repeatedly echo Nazi and far-right ideology as they aim to retake White House.”

I agree with you, but it seems like your answer to that question is without exception determined by your opinion of Trump. All my Republican friends would say no, Trump didn’t incite the January 6 riot, he told them to protest “peacefully and patriotically,” and they would say that Democrats are the ones always inciting violence and could show you at least five minutes of video clips of Democrats “explicitly calling for violence.”
It almost makes you think, as Steve Bannon wants you to think, that there is no objective truth, because each side just believes whatever they want.

Do you believe women are giving birth and the Drs are then killing their newborns?
Do you believe countries are clearing out there prisons and insane asylums and dropping them all off at the US border?
Do you believe that a glass of water can melt batteries?
You either have to believe all of this or none of it, there is no in-between.
