A vote for Trump is a vote for Russia?

"Washington has accused Moscow of running a covert propaganda campaign to meddle in the 2024 U.S. presidential election, with documents revealing a connection to Canadian far-right influencers Lauren Chen and her husband, Liam Donovan."

And also Lauren Southern and six others but my question is that right wingers typically want Trump elected so does this mean that Russia is paying influencers to vouch for Trump to sway the 2024 election. That implication is nuts and makes me wonder who else is being paid.

Russia's main goal is not to necessarily elect Trump.

Their #1 goal is to break up NATO by destabilizing the U.S.

There has never been a candidate of a major U.S. political party with strong anti-NATO sentiments - until Trump.

Hence their rationale for supporting Trump in the process.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@SatanBurger Yes we call them liberals. Or socialists or progressives. They are truly nuts. They oppose Putin because they think that Putin wants to bring back to Russia what they truly want in the US. Very deluded lot.
SatanBurger · 36-40, FVIP
@hippyjoe1955 Well when Putin said himself that he wants the old Soviet back and you're saying I got that from CNN implying I'm making it up but his comments are pretty traceable if I'm being honest. This does sound like a delusion to therefore deny you ever heard it coming from his own mouth.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@SatanBurger Now try put what he said in context. You missed that part. Nice try though.
Crazywaterspring · 61-69, M
The US has been tampering in other countries elections since forever. NOW its a problem? Anyone heard of AIPAC?

Responsible regimes would not want a loose cannon like trump.

American society is already divided thanks to the corporate media.

@LordShadowfire And I see you completely missed the point as per usual.

And only in America are people indoctrinated enough to believe that series countries can topple an election through 4chan raid tactics.

But sure. Go with that if you need to change the subject to avoid addressing anything I said.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow
And I see you completely missed the point as per usual.
What point? That you hate Ukraine and don't want it to exist anymore? You are right about one thing, though. If it weren't for NATO, you'd get your wish.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
While it could mean just that. It could also mean that Russia recognises the paralysing effect a Trump second term would have both in devisive politics and a fractured economy, which would enable them to proceed more agressively in Europe..,😷
SatanBurger · 36-40, FVIP
@whowasthatmaskedman That's very true sadly enough and his base don't care.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M

@LordShadowfire Its todays equivalent of "So's your old man." or "Oh Yeah!" Used by those who disagree, but have no idea why..😷
Heck, even my right wing libertarian dad says this.

@hippyjoe1955

Quick simple answer:

Generally speaking, with some exceptions (the War of 1812 being one), democracies do not go to war against each other.

Trade disputes? Sure. But war? No.

Trade brings nations and their peoples closer together.

So if you desire peace without tyranny, having more thriving democracies in the world is preferred and with dictatorships kept in checked until one day all men and women "will walk out of the long tunnels of tyranny.. and into the bright sunshine of freedom." *

@hippyjoe1955 We live in a prison industrial complex but that's a moot point when the evidence is there.

What's more plausible? The DOJ set up this elaborate scheme of photoshopping all the text messages, setting up a fake agency to put 8 million funds into these YouTubers accounts, spoof the IP to make it look like it's from Russia, hiring two Russian paid actors to act as the ones they arrested or whatever they did i forgot they were from the site RN which is a Russia propaganda news site, they would have to have been previously planted long enough to have a career on that news site, then somehow make all that money look like it came from Russia all to set up Russia to make it look like it was endorsing Trump?

Or the likely plausible thing here is that it really happened
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@SatanBurger So you have actually seen all the evidence or you are just going on what the DOJ is telling you?
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Tim Pool being all I WAS MANIPULATED I LOVE UKRAINE is extremely funny.
oh we doing russia russia russia again?

someone get me comer on the ph so we can discuss the biden admin and CHYNA bucks.. and others.

this is why trump is so popular.
SatanBurger · 36-40, FVIP
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Honestly Russia is in recent news. I can't help if it's recent news. When you say "oh we're playing Russia Russia Russia again" you make it sound like you are being dismissive. I'm not going to go that route with you.
@SatanBurger Mkay. Merrick garland said himself they were unwitting victims…
And nobodies been charged..
But it’s a nice headline for you to get on and post direct links to trump and Russia huh?

Hook line and sinker..

But what ever you say 👍
SatanBurger · 36-40, FVIP
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Lauren had a text that asked when they get paid by Russia, they looked up on Google what time it was there. It's cool they were unwitting but I don't buy exactly that they didn't know what they were doing when their mysterious contact paid 8 million to specifically talk about Russia like all the time lol, there's no bigger hint babe sorry.

As a whole, not filling paperwork isn't going to land them in jail. The trouble is the fact they work for a foreign agency and didn't disclose it. I haven't hid that fact.
What is a SatanBurger? It sounds like i want one. Is it big and hearty with a lot of meat? Is it spicy or full of flavor?
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@froggtongue I guarantee you a Satanburger would have a bunch of peppers on it.
SatanBurger · 36-40, FVIP
@LordShadowfire You're right actually lol
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
And yet Putin says he prefers Kamala. He likes her laugh. Well that and the fact that her clueless leadership would make Russia the preeminent power on earth. He is licking his lips in anticipation.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@SatanBurger well my brother in law and two cousins believed the government and got vaxed. They are now dead.
SatanBurger · 36-40, FVIP
@hippyjoe1955 Oh wow. My 90 year old grandparents got vaxxed four times and they're alright. So is the entire neighborhood where I'm at, no deaths lol. I think it's more likely that they had previous health issues and it's a case of correlation doesn't equal causation logical fallacy. Like red meat for instance, red meat isn't bad but a lot of people that eat red meat also smoke and drink or eat processed foods, leading to more deaths and therefore leads researchers to believe red meat kills you. When sometimes it's harder to pin a causation around that.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@SatanBurger Good for them My wife's cousins got vaxed and so far have no ill effects either. However the same can not be said of my brother in law or my two cousins or my neighbour or the young fellow that used to go to our church. My son now has myocarditis following his jab and my daughter has neuropathy following her jab. Sad that they failed to question their government. I had COVID. It was a mild cold. I never missed a day's work.

@sunsporter1649 Would a cult member know they're in a cult? So if you yourself were radicalized would you know? Maybe you're talking about yourself.

Bellatrix2024 · 22-25
Oh not this again! 🙄🤡
If they're going to make up silly stories, can't they at least find something original?
Besides, Putin has endorsed Kamala Harris, because he likes the way she laughs.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Bellatrix2024 In geopolitics, you should always judge regimes by what they do: not what they say.
Bellatrix2024 · 22-25
@Burnley123 Obviously!
SatanBurger · 36-40, FVIP
@Bellatrix2024 But Putin only paid people that endorsed Trump and not Harris so actions speak louder. 100,000 per video is no small time money.
Bellatrix2024 · 22-25
Lauren Chen and Lauren Southern aren't "far right" by the way, they're just right.
Bellatrix2024 · 22-25
@Burnley123 Can't think of a lie to respond with? 🤔
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Bellatrix2024 Good lord what's far right to you
SatanBurger · 36-40, FVIP

@SatanBurger It is a conspiracy because it is taking a tiny issue and turning it into some giant plot and you are proof it works to manipulate people.
SatanBurger · 36-40, FVIP
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Russia wouldn't pay that to just anyone off the street if it was that easy. They're able to do that because those influencers have a wider range audience. It's just common sense.

Far right winged extremism has killed a lot of people. Right wing political violence accounts for more than 90% of all attacks in 2020.
@SatanBurger Again. When you divide it up it is chump change. And again, Russia finances plenty of journalists and yes it is as easy as making you file the right paperwork.

And you are right. Right wing violence does hurt people. But random normies are not going to go to Storm Front for their news.

And most of these people actually have small audiences overrall.

Lauren Southern's audience has been on a decline since 2021. Her Social blade stats are abyssal.

And Russia has paid journalists across the spectrum, including Larry King, Ed Shultz, Jesse Ventura, heck even former SDS member Tom Hartmann and Chris Hedges.

Every one of them except Larry King and Ed Shultz are to the Left of Bernie Sanders.
