Father of Georgia school shooting suspect arrested on charges including second-degree murder

The teen charged with denied threatening to carry out a school shooting when authorities interviewed him last year about a menacing post on social media, according to a sheriff’s report obtained Thursday. Meanwhile his father was arrested on a variety of counts, including second-degree murder.

Colin Gray, 54, the father of Colt Gray, was charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said in a social media post. No other details were immediately provided. A news conference was planned later Thursday.

Good. Throw the book at a enough of those deadbeats and maybe it will stop.
It’s always a lgtb on meds..
Nobody will ever point the finger at big pharma psych drugs or their pill dispenser doctors handing them out like candy..

We better just blame the gun…

JD Vance, in his bullet proof box with his armed guards around him yesterday, was telling Americans that school shootings are just a fact of life. SAD!!
"We don’t have to like the reality that we live in, but it is the reality we live in. We’ve got to deal with it."
— JD Vance, Sept 5, Biltmore Resort, Phoenix AZ

Yes, dozens of your children will be needlessly killed in school this year, but that's sacrifice the GQP is willing to make to keep the support of the gun lobby.
@sunsporter1649 Before I answer that, are you admitting that more guns DON'T make us safer??

@ElwoodBlues A 64-year veteran of the U.S. military was shot but successfully defended himself during a violent robbery attempt on September 1, 2023. The veteran, whose name has not been released, was meeting a man to purchase equipment through an online transaction. The encounter quickly escalated into a life-threatening situation, leaving both men injured.

According to Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry, the veteran met the suspect, later identified as Abel Medardo Sacrab-Chen, in Cullman to complete the transaction. Sacrab-Chen informed the victim that the equipment was not on-site and suggested they drive to another location. Once inside the vehicle, Sacrab-Chen pulled a knife, pressed it to the veteran’s throat, and demanded money, threatening to kill him.

Recognizing the imminent danger, the veteran, who had a firearm with him for protection, acted decisively. He drew his firearm and shot Sacrab-Chen, ending the threat. Despite being wounded, Sacrab-Chen managed to flee the scene in the veteran’s truck.

Cullman County deputies and local police responded quickly, locating Sacrab-Chen at an intersection in Cullman. He was still inside the stolen vehicle and had sustained gunshot wounds. Sacrab-Chen, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala, was taken into custody and transported to a hospital, where he remains under medical care.

Authorities have charged Sacrab-Chen with first-degree robbery, with additional charges expected. District Attorney Champ Crocker confirmed that Sacrab-Chen also faces a federal charge for being an illegal immigrant in possession of a firearm, a violation of federal law passed in September 2022. He will be prosecuted fully under Alabama law before any consideration of deportation.

The victim sustained injuries during the incident but is recovering. Sheriff Gentry praised the veteran’s quick actions and credited his tactical awareness and preparation for likely saving his life.
@sunsporter1649 You think guns make us safer??

If guns make us safer, why don't the let guns into the GOP conventions??

If guns make us safer, why don't the let guns into Trump rallies??

If guns make us safer, why don't the let guns into Vance rallies??

Remember all the "good guys with guns" surrounding Uvalde?? Didn't do much good, did they??
Ya wonder if it would make a difference if he'd given the kid mass doses of poison.
