Absolutely

No. That's just one of the many excuses the establishment's been trying to pull out of their ass because they can't accept the fact that Trump won fair and square. I don't even like Trump and I can see all of this bullshit!

Hacking emails and hacking an election are two different things. No one has denied the contents of the emails which were (or should have been) damaging to the DNC as well as the Clinton campaign. Did they turn anything around? I would say unlikely, but that is just my opinion. I highly doubt that anyone who uses the internet has not been subjected to a fishing scheme of some sort or another. The fact that high level people who should be very aware of such things were taken in is disturbing. Who did it? Who cares. Every government hacks. There are kids in basements hacking, there are corporations hacking. Was the election hacked? no. Was someone's email hacked? yes

If the Russians were indeed behind it there should be consequences, but there should also be consequences for being dishonest. Everyone is talking about hacking. No one is talking about the fact that their own words were used against them.

It's called deflection. Don't look at the lipstick stained hankerchief. Why were you cleaning out the pockets of my pants before taking them to the cleaners.
goliathtree · 56-60, M
perfect analogy.
katielass · F
No, there is no hard evidence they hacked anything or anyone. At best, it's a guess, by people who are wrong half the time. Think WMD.
katielass · F
@Booyeah: I can't argue with that. I don't know the answer but I do know this. No matter what we do it will have consequences, some bad, some good. And you can't really say we should never invade again because that last one was a mistake. You cannot compare two situations, all things are not equal. All we can do is our best with what we know at the time. I personally believe that no matter who we elect, war is coming. The jihadists are hell bent on war with us and they will have their way. One way or the other.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@Shattered: Looking back, I have to say it was a mistake. We were never going to have any long-term alliance with Iraq. Iraq would never support democracy. Plus, Iraq hated Iran. Saddam Hussein would of had the guts to stop Iran's nuclear program.

@GunSmoke9: Exactly

Hahahahaha ! 👍😊
not at all...this administration is grasping at straws...the only reason Putin didn't retaliate was because he knew a smarter and more common sense administration was moving in on Jan 20th...

I'm sure hacking is something that goes on, or attempts to go on everyday between governments around the world !
Not so easy to burgle or bug embassy's like it used to be !!
What i find difficult to believe is that anybody would be foolhardy enough not to have adequate security around their e-mail accounts ESPECIALLY if any of their transmissions were likely to be 'sensitive'.
Pretty sure if the U:S had the slightest inkling that a foreign government had hacked anything to do with a democratically elected governments e-mail accounts, Russia would be a pile of dust right about now !
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
The short answer is; possibly yes, but I would need to see the proof to be sure.

See Glenn Greenwald for the long answer:

Its strange that most of the Democrats here think that Russia was behind the hack whereas every single Republican are sure that they were not.

Its like they all objectively weighed up the evidence, thought about it, took and balanced view and somehow decided believe exactly was is most convenient.

When people talk about tribalism and partisanship in US politics, THIS is exactly what they mean. There is little actual free-thinking on these pages, sorry.
katielass · F
Yeah, kind of how it's convenient to deny that illegals vote.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Katielass: Let me guess. You are a Republican and you think Russia was not behind the hack. LOL.
Loretta78 · 46-50, F
Yes. I think that POSSIBLY they´ve hacked. But I also think that Trump would have won the election also without the "aid" of his Russian friends.

I don't understand how that would even make any sense 😕

Not for Trump but in order to get him elected. Russians themselves are accepting the responsibility for some of the hacking and misdirection. Only in America does someone confess and we go, "Yeah, we don't believe 'im."
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
yeh, yet people are in denial about what is going on behind closed doors all over this planet.

people trust our governments.. amazing.

i just give up.
they certainly helped with the propaganda
