Hacking emails and hacking an election are two different things. No one has denied the contents of the emails which were (or should have been) damaging to the DNC as well as the Clinton campaign. Did they turn anything around? I would say unlikely, but that is just my opinion. I highly doubt that anyone who uses the internet has not been subjected to a fishing scheme of some sort or another. The fact that high level people who should be very aware of such things were taken in is disturbing. Who did it? Who cares. Every government hacks. There are kids in basements hacking, there are corporations hacking. Was the election hacked? no. Was someone's email hacked? yes
If the Russians were indeed behind it there should be consequences, but there should also be consequences for being dishonest. Everyone is talking about hacking. No one is talking about the fact that their own words were used against them.

It's called deflection. Don't look at the lipstick stained hankerchief. Why were you cleaning out the pockets of my pants before taking them to the cleaners.
