Where are the calls for more gun control after Trump was shot?
I have not heard any Democrats, or anyone in the main stream media talk about

That's because you only watch Fox. You also may have missed yesterday's hearing in Congress (the now departing head of the Secret Service was testifying).
Of course it's possible that Fox did not cover the segments where gun nuts were asking questions. Plenty of other lawmakers talked about the real problem.

Nice fantasy, but once again fantasy is not fact. As after every shooting, there have been renewed calls for gun safety standards, gun control, and banning of AR-15 military style weapons. Why not say, why aren't there more calls for "Thoughts and Prayers" from maga-nuts after Cry-Baby-trump got grazed with a bullet? It seems those calls were muted... that's a first.

with guns now, than we did 40-50 years ago when we had very little mass shootings.
Something has been broken in the mental health arena, it has nothing to do with guns.
In 1970 50% of households had guns. When I was a kid in the 60's & 70's, every family
I knew had guns and ammo in their unlocked closets, and no one EVER even thought
about playing with them, or using them. Something has changed, and it has absolutely
NOTHING, to do with guns. Only 35% of households have guns now days, and most
have them are in locked cases and safes.
What changed???

Mainstream conservative (who make up most of America) have actually taken the time to READ THE CONSTITUTION.
It would never occur to us to OVERTURN THE CONSTITUTION just because a DemoNAZI sniper missed Trump's head with all those shots.
Our amazing LEGALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT raised his fist in the air, daring the rest of the NAZIS to take their best shot.
We don't want gun control. We want to fix the country.
