He is wishy-washy.

He put in three of the supreme court justice, just so Rowe versus Wade would get overturned and put into the states hands.

Yet he is not as extreme as some would like on the issue. He wouldn't be for a total ban no matter what, like what has happened in Arizona recently. In fact he was against going that far.

He would push for some controls on the federal level. Yet he is being unrealistic. Because he put it into the states hands.

The politics here was simply to get rid of Rowe versus Wade so they could make other federal laws.

That's wishy-washy! 🤷🏻‍♂️

If the supreme Court follows through to form, then ANY federal law should be unconstitutional.

This is why there should be a constitutional amendment covering abortions as well as what it is to be even human.
@DeWayfarer I do not consider his stance on abortion to be wishy-washy, to be honest. He said in 2016 that it should be up to the states, and he is still saying it.

I disagree with his position, but it is consistent.

@CorvusBlackthorne he publicly said he was against Arizona's reenacting that archaic law.

He wants to do something federally. And the only way to do that is to get rid of Rowe versus Wade. It's the only reason he is pushing Bibles for campaign funding.

So about a year or two ago there were arguments about what it meant to be a woman, but now they are arguing over what it means to be human?

America is a mess.

@CestManan yes, yet this is becoming a world issue soon. They are already messing around with cloning and DNA in even China. Then they even are talking about computer to brain interfaces.

So how do you define human thought from computer AI thought? 🤷🏻‍♂️
CestManan · 46-50, F
@DeWayfarer
Then they even are talking about computer to brain interfaces.
They have been talking about that for years.

They are basically grasping at any straw they can for reasons to revoke rights.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@CestManan I don't believe they are grasping. AI is huge even in China see the tiktoc issue. They have already successfully cloned animals. And have a DNA banks of thousands of animals... "Just in case" it is needed. And Elon musk is working on the computer interfaces with astounding sucess with paralyzed people.

@DeWayfarer Overturning Roe was a monumental step. It was an unconstitutional opinion that need to be overturned.
Of course, if the DemoNazis want another federal Roe, all they have to do is just pass a law and have it signed by a DemoNazi president.
As it is, Roe's overturning left the matter to the states. It looks like nobody in Washington wants it any other way.

@Reason10 the current ConservoMarxist do NOT believe in democracy. They have shown this by allowing States to form mini religious states and disallowing:
"Government of the People, by the People, for the People!"
Look up who said that and noticed that it's not by the "States"!

You're not even conservative anymore! And this SCOTUS are traitors by Lincoln's standards!

Ever heard of the Lincoln project? I suggest you look them up!
