Are you easily frightened ?

AbbeyRhodeF
Average, I think, but the damage the Biden regime is doing to this country is terrifying.

Oh, it's much worse than that.
In college Economics class, we studied the Kerrey Danforth Report.

Thanks to the shit you just provided, this is what we have to look forward by the year 2030. (If not sooner.)

1. The ENTIRE federal budget will be nothing but INTEREST on Social Security borrowing. No military, no welfare, no government, no roads, education, etc.

2. Taxation will be 90 percent across the board. No exceptions.

We studied this report in the late 90s.

Suspend all foriegn aid, if they really need and want US taxpayers money it'll be a loan with IRS interest rates
@MarineBob We still need Israel's intelligence reports from Mossad, as for the rest, close ALL of the foreign bases, don't forget the weapons too, leave NATO, and make them pay for their own defence.
@NativePortlander1970 You forget that the past 60 years, the United States made up wars on many continents, and NATO had to pay for that too. From Korea via Vietnam to Kuwait or Afghanistan, the US made war without reason and all NATO members saw money flow away. Now there is a real enemy, you want to back out. There is a name for that.
@Thewhazzupdude NATO didn't pay a single dime, they only orchestrated them.

I have been bleeding about this since it was $70,000 per person. Now they need to borrow just to pay the interest. And STILL borrowing $Trillions more every year..馃樂
NimbusM
There鈥檚 8 billion of us.. we all should just give the banks the 2 finger salute and not pay back anything.. what are they gunna do..

By lots of things, yes. By that no.

It only shows one side of the balance sheet.
NimbusM
@ninalanyon What's on the other side?
ninalanyon61-69, T
@Nimbus What the debt is for, who holds the debt, etc. What effects that debt has on the lives of the citizens, the effects that naive attempts to clear it or restrict it might have. Without a discussion of those things, and more, the numbers are not very useful.
trollslayer46-50, M
Yep. War and military spending combined with tax cuts will do that.

Reason1061-69, M
@trollslayer Nope. ENTITLEMENT SPENDING is 75 percent of the budget and by law it is on automatic increase.

Tax cuts expanded the economy and INCREASED REVENUES to the government.
trollslayer46-50, M
@Reason10 You consider Social Security "entitlement spending"?

You are welcome to give back your social security and Medicare when you retire. Nobody is stopping you.

No, I am not, but that debt rating surely is a sobering/scary situation though.

@WillaKissing Exactly!

Deficit last year was $1.7 trillion. I think Biden is going for $4 trillion this year.
