@Julien Energy independence makes perfect sense (<----see correct spelling). We still need "fossil" fuels. I can't see a reason to pay Putin or Iran, or Venezuela to import it when we have cleaner product under our feet. The benefits are many. Let's start with a way to pay down the debt that keeps climbing and climbing. Engage our industrial base with plentiful energy. A dependable source of energy where we don't have to rely on countries who hate us.
